About Dianne Morris

A smiling woman with styled dreadlocks wearing a colorful patterned dress, a pink tweed jacket, and layered necklaces, standing indoors.

I’m a registered nurse/midwife, educator, and researcher with more than 30 years of experience in maternal and child health across Australia and the UK. My work spans hospital-based care, university teaching, childbirth education, research coordination, and community wellbeing programs—especially for women and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Across my career, spanning hospitals, universities, research institutes, community organisations, and arts projects, I have been committed to creating spaces where people feel seen, safe, and empowered. I have led culturally grounded workshops on building resilience,, designed trauma‑informed supervision models for Black and Brown practitioners, and produced participatory arts experiences that honour identity, story, and intergenerational connection.

Whether I’m in the classroom, at the bedside, or facilitating workshops for new parents, I believe every person deserves care that is respectful, inclusive, and empowering.
