Your journey, my commitment.

Supporting people, organisations, and communities to connect with care and culture.

I’m a midwife, researcher, speaker and advocate passionate about empowering culturally diverse communities through inclusive care and connection.

With over 30 years of experience, I offers personalised midwifery care and emotional resilience coaching, providing expert support through pregnancy, childbirth, and life’s transitions to help women thrive with confidence and strength.

I provide culturally safe, trauma‑informed program design and community engagement strategies for health professionals and others working in maternal and women’s health. My work supports organisations to create responsive, equitable, and community‑led approaches to culturally safe care for women and their babies.

I also incorporate art‑therapy–inspired birthing classes that blend creativity, embodiment, and evidence‑informed practice to support women through pregnancy and birth.

Through an immersive soundscape of Caribbean and African diasporic lullabies, rhythms and sounds, The BLE invites families into a space of cultural expression, intergenerational connection, and early development.

My mission is to empower women, honour resilience, and reshape the experience of motherhood and parenting for generations to come. The impact of my work extends far beyond the individual, influencing families, strengthening communities, and contributing to a broader cultural shift toward care, equity, resilience, and belonging.
